i'd get a 36gb with another 200gb or so 7200 hdd, the raptor for OS and games annd the 7200 hdd for everything else... if you have the $
 
yea i dont... that's why i was asking.

I don't really need a huge hd... like maybe 120 or so, and I'd even have trouble wit that.

also, since the raptors are OEM, if i got 2 hds, would I need 2 SATA Cables?
 
i'd say if you dont have the money then dont get it, since it will not matter as much if you have good ram and cpu.

you'll still need just one cable with the two connectors on them, then you'll just have to adjust the little pin thingies to set primary and secondary hdds. it should be in the manual
 
sata cables should come with your mobo but if your out of them yea you would need to buy more cables
 
i think there really isnt a big difference in hdd's because i have an 80gb maxtor and it works fine, and another 160gb WD which has no problems, but i heard seagates are supposed to be a bit better?
yeah so i 'd just get the cheapest one for the most gigs
