XP trouble

I am trying to upgrade my Home to xp pro and had my family burn a copy of the xp pro upgrade and send it to me. I'm at school. When i got the disk it started the install then told me I am missing the I386:asms file. My question is is there a way I can find this file somewhere and put it onto my comp?

I saw this page, Only thing is that I am using a burned CD legit code but burned CD so I read where it says it might be that the Burned CD is bad. If I run this and it turns out the ASMS file isn't there will I ruin anything else?>

I got it up and working. I just switched what optical drive to use
