I just connected a slave hd to my new motherboard (last motherboard had same problem but I thought it was the mb then, but now as this one has same problem I know it isnt) Master is a 80gb hd with windows etc.. and this new 200gb says its only 31.4gb. Ive tried the maxtor software for "true size tdetection" but didnt work.. So I thought u guys could help. Formatting drive didnt help. Its NTFS.

ok I have the same problem my 300gb hard drive reads 30gb
All you have to do is right click my computer, click manage, double click storage, double click disk management, and create another partition with the disk space missing

If that doesn't work then you most likely need a new hard drive unless reformatting it works

or call customer service and ask them what to do cause theres a sertant way to run max blast cause of a glitch
