how is the score calculated? is it a constant scale, i.e, 6000 is 2x as good as 3000? or is it logarithmic?

is it all based on framrate?

I think that is has to do with what frame rates you can get at certain settings. 6000 isin't always better than 3000. You can score 3000 with every detail maxed out or on a different pc you can score 6000 with everything set to the lowest.

well yea, but i mean at standard settings.

how to they get from the raw framerate data to a number in the thousands?

I guess it's just a formula that the creator's came up with. So every part of the equation let's say is a variable. After the test is run they substitute the variable with a number according to the results of the benchmark.

I think they offer a scorecard of some kind. If it's there, look it over and see if you can make some sense of it.

I thought it was just the total amount of frames displayed over the whole time.
(You'd get 3600 frames in one minute at 60fps so..)
