Ive got a friend who before formatting his computer needed to save his Outlook information, but instead of exporting it, he has just copied a 20 meg .pst file, which he assumed to have the information. However when the file is imported Outlook says that it is not a correct personal folders file, or outlook crashes. Any ideas on how to access that information?

you dont have to import a pst file, you just have to point to the right place. You can do this threw mail setup in the controll pannel. If the pst file gives you errors look for scanpst. That should fix any errors in the pst. Make sure you check the create backup box before you run it.
