Power Supply Tester that works with the majority of windows machines

I do onsite computer troubleshooting and repair. IÂ’m looking for a Power Supply Tester that works with the majority of
home and small office Windows machines, from P4 & AMD down to older machines. I found one at

does this look like something that would work for my needs?
(Testing Power Supplies when they wonÂ’t turn on or for other problems) Thanks in advance and have a great weekend.

It would work for machines that use off the shelf ATX PSUs in machines made after 1995.

However, some manufacturers, like HP and Dell, have been known to use proprietary PSUs, and I don't know if that would work with them.

What about other ways to test them, other than swapping out the old one with one that works

Use a multimeter.
