Is my card not as good??

i bought a 9800 Se and its seems to run good. but in high graphics game there is sometimes lag.... ex. Battlefield 1942 and Painkiller demo. Also i did the soft mod and it worked it said that i have 8x1 but it said 128 bit instead of 256.........why?

Well, is it a 256mb card or 128mb?? I reckon its only 128mb and that 8x you refer to is the size of the AGP slot, which is standard.

Sorry merlin, He's talking about something else. Some SE cards were made with 256 bit RAM, some with 128 bit. Looks like you bought the latter. If you can send it back for a refund (unlikely) otherwise you're screwed. The card is basicly a 9500 Pro with an R350 core. That's the risk you run when you try and softmod, it's hard to tell what PCB and RAM you'll get when you buy a card, and thus the performance you'll unlock.
