hi, i was just wondering is there really that big or a diffrence betweene the two OS's? (64bit/32bit) What advantages to you gain by going with the 64 bit?

can you use linux with a duel core processor?

oh ok i thought you needed windows 64 bit edition to run the duel ccore cpus

Most definatly there is versions of Fedora, Mandriva, and SuSe that will do this for you. There are many more put these use the RPMs are are considered the more popular versions.
