woah... 'peeled'? Go get some isopropal (spelling?) alcohol and clean the heatsink and heat spreader off completely. From there you need to add some more REAL thermal paste (Arctic Silver 5, OCZ Ultra 5) and then try it out. Don't run that computer until you do this.
