lol in that case.. do it yourself.

But no.. people ususally just recommend the same thing to everyone... we should just make a sticky with budgets going from $500 to $2000.
Hmm I think I might do that.

well if i get an AMD, then what mother board would be a good buy? i think you guys have pretty much convinced me to get an AMD. the only thing id get over an AMD now is that new pentium chip which costs 1000 dollars but... thats just way too much money for a cpu. thanks for the help.

Aight heres my 2 cents...

AMD processor single core because gaming only uses one core. Better off putting the price difference from X2 just into a single. I think the AMD 4000 is a great buy.

Check out this RAM. It seems to have a better rep but idk much about ram

As far as a motherboard goes, just get an ASUS A8N Premium or something. Asus is a solid mobo maker. They support SLi too if you ever wanted to do that down the road, which is add another identical GPU as a plan for upgrade.

IDK your budget but if its tight check out that stuff.

Yeah a sli motherboard is a smart choice so later this summer or winter You can the same one for like 100 dollars less and sli em and play those games...:)
