I believe I had tried the spread spectrum set to DISABLE before with no luck.....not sure exactly what happened to be honest ;-)

E ekÆsine Fully Optimized Messages 3,937 Mar 4, 2004 #13 nice to see you fixed it. falconer just to clarify your xp2500 does not run at 2.5Ghz, but is an equivalent of a pent4 2.5Ghz version B processor with 533Mhz FSB. so don't think you are being screwed with not having 2.5Ghz
