Linux/Windows On Separate Drives...

Hey.

I have a spare 20GB drive lying around, and I really want to install Linux on it. Thing is, I'm going to be updating hardware a lot over the next while, and I'm probably going to need to reinstall XP a couple times. And if I did that with both OS's on the same drive, I'd have to reinstall Linux along with it...

So is there any way I can use a separate hard drive for Linux, so that the MBR's of each drive do not affect each other?
 
Yes BIOS. Or the quick boot disk select key if your motherboard supports it. Like on my motherboard I only have to press F11 just after it detects the HDD's and I can select the disk. Does not change default.
