This isnt the full upgrade, im also getting 5 more fans, new HSF, and am going to mod the case a bit :) The side of the case will look like this if you were wondering...

Its a left side view. All you see thats black will be the actual case. All you see thats red will be acrylic with red CCFL lighting behind it. Its in paint so deal with it :p

looks pretty good. might uprade that optical drive to a nec dvd burner, last time i checked it was around 40 dollars on newegg. so if you could spare a little more money. some people might say get other ram but theres nothing wrong with the one you chose. once you mod the case im sure it'll look really awesome ^^

A thing that might help you is getting the X2 4200+, amd getting 2GB of ram.

Nice-ness. One thing, Mwave.com has opty 165's for $325 and I use them as much as I do Newegg and they're great. Just don't buy the last one in stock or I'll be gunning for you! (I'm buying the 165 too)

On second thought, Nabbing a NEC DVD Burner from the egg would be better in the long run for only about $10 more.

Also, if you can afford it nab 2 gigs. And try to get the best you can if you're OC'ing.

Good Luck!:D

If your gonna overclock, (which is what i am guessing with the opty), then you might want a DFI lanparty mobo, better for overclocking. Also, try to get some RAM with better timings than the corsair, go for 2-2-2-5, if you can afford it.
I agree with the above guys about the DVD burner.
