we are creating ppt slides on office 2003 machines and when we send them for review to some of our client sites they are unable to see some images (.jpg) when they open the document in office 2000. is there a patch that they can run so that all images appear as they should on their machines? PS yes the images are in the file and not just links to images.

i forgot to mention that when saving file, when we choose the 97-2000 option our 4MB file becomes 45MB so that is out of the question unless we can just save it as 2000-2003 file format.

what I would do is install 2000 in a diff directory and create them with that and send it to them and use 2003 for clientc who have 2003, but I didnt think this would be a problem. I know for Access it is....

using the earliest version is what I have come up with to as an answer. there seems to be no patch or CU to tackle this problem. everything looks great on the project except the .jpg which makes no sense since .jpg has been around for years?!
