only if you dont know what you're doing. the thermal pads that come with the heatsink usually aren't going to transfer heat as well as something like AS5

Yea that's a pretty nice cooler if you ask me. The only downside is that the base doesn't have much copper.

i noticed the bottom of that heatsink has a round shape. the stock amd one is square.. and also the space on my mobo is square. how does that round bottom lock onto the square spot on my mobo?
