Hey, new to the forum.

I'm thinking of getting the Thermalright XP90 to overclock my 3500, and I've heard it is quite large, will it fit in my Antec Performance One case with an ASUS A8N motherboard?

Thanks,
Bo

It ought to.

Be sure to order it from a decent company that will let you return it if it doesn't work. Read the return policies to be sure.

I read somewhere that the heatpipes were supposed to face the first pci-e/agp slot. I dont know if it makes a difference the way you have it though.

hmmm.... What I dont like is how the fan is way to the right of the cpu and is not blowing directly down onto the cpu. I might try different directions tomorrow to see if it does me any good. Its been the way I've had it in the pics for several months, and my cpu is pretty cool at idle, but it cant hurt to experiment

that is the design of the dpu, that is what heatpipes are for, what that is doing, since the bulk of the heatsink isnt on the cpu, but up higher for reasons such such as Ram chips
