yea, but I don't think i do. I'll wait a bit. If i'm eventually getting a second gig, should I get 2 512s or just a full gig?

You should get 2x 512 unless you want to run it half the speed.

I would buy it now since the price will rise after DDR is made less and there is much more demand for DDR2 when AMD converts.
