Remove Adobe Type Manager:a. Start the computer. After the initial Power On Self Test (POST), press and hold down the CTRL key.

The Microsoft Windows 98 Startup menu appears.
b. Use the ARROW keys to select Safe mode, and then press ENTER.
c. On the Windows is running in safe mode message, click OK.
d. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Adobe, and then click Adobe Type Manager.
e. On the Settings tab, click Uninstall ATM.
f. Click Begin Uninstall, and then follow the instructions to completely remove Adobe Type Manager.
g. Restart Windows normally.

There is no operating system on the hard drive at this time. This is how I got it. ????????????????

does it have a floppy drive?

yes and I have tried to use a boot up floppy with the disc and the same still happens.

try resetting the bios or the cmos jumper.....might need to clear some stuff up

open the case up, look for a silver battery like a watch battery. pull it out, wait 5 minutes and put it back in.
