Copy hard drive, but not partition size?

After reading through the PDF manuals of both, I decided that the Copy Drive of Ghost sounded more like what I needed. Plus it gave me the option to copy the boot files over as well.

did you have to merge your partitions?

I've always use to partition magic to copy little drives to big drive, because software like maxblast wouldn't did copy the mbr over right and sometime the new drive wouldn't boot with an authentication error.

I know use imagedrive 5.6 on the ultimate tech cd to do it. it has about 7- 8 programs to copy a drive over with

It only had the one.

I was asking because you had the 40gb going to a 160 and thought it might copy the 40gb and then make a new partition then you would have to merge them. But you didnt so ok..
