over clocking issues

when everr i go higher then 225 on the mhz it boots but not fully whats the cause? i have a amd 3500+

What are you setting at 225MHz? HTT, RAM, ???.
What are your specs other than the 3500

Try upping the voltages and run the RAM on a divider
