lost favorites

I have a user at work that lost his favorites in IE. They still exist in the favorites folder but don't show up in the menu. How do I get those back into IE.

Did his local profile become corrupt ? You may want to repair IE, or rebuild the local profile if you wish for this to be a "quick" fix.

He/She may have a link in the favorites that is too long for windows to recognize... You may need to find the broken "Favorite" and either rename it or delete it.

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Favorites?

They are on the H drive. In this environment that is how it is set up.

ok..same with mine. copy them from the h drive and paste them to the directory i posted

We run Novell in our environment and we just had to right click on the icon in the NAL and select verify.
