AMD 64 4000+
Graphics 7800GT Nvidia
120 gig HD
A Thermaltake sapranoe case (My favourite case)
A asus or gigabyte mobo
LG Disk drive
2 gigs of Kingston Ram

See how much money you stand with that because if ya have more theres alot more room to upgrade.

Looks good above but i personnaly would go with a dual core processor and the ocz modstream psu. The psu has better cable managment and thus your system will cool better.

The opterons overclock really well:

dude! look at the combo deals that come with the 7800gtx! all those cpus are $100 off, you can just take your pick

I would go with a Toledo dual core myself.

AMD Athlon X2
7800 GTX
DFI Lanapart nForce4 Ultra-D
2 gigs of RAM

x2 3800 or opteron 165
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D or ABIT An8-Ultra
2g good OCZ or G.Skill memory
evga 7800gt
seagate 250g hdd
Benq dvd-rw with lightscribe or NEC dvd-rw drive
Antec Sonata II(personal pref)
Fortron fx600w, ocz powerstream 520w, or antec trupowerII 550
Audigy 2zs

Should be around 1600 bucks.

Yea, I was looking at the 4400+ cause I might be buying this weekend and said that it was 100 dollars off with the eVGA 7800GTX and a bunch of other video cards, and I said "screw the GT I am going for the GTX." It's only 30 dollars more then the GT I was going to get.
