build now or wait for new cpus and video cards

I haven't seen to much info on the new stuff (socket M2 and Nvidia G71). Has anyone heard what those will be compatable with like current mobos? Or will it be new architecture that will require new setups? I know new technology drives the industry to keep things progressing. Just curious, I'm also getting ready to put a new system together.

Socket M2 is identical in appearence to socket 940. They will not be compatible though. The new nVidia and ATI cards will be in PCIe x16. It's a relatively new port, so it will stick around for a while. (I hope..)
