Hi, I am currently trying to set up the internet on a VERY old toshiba laptop...you know the ones that are grey and brick-like?
I can connect to the internet but the computer is running hideously old versions of netscape and IE. The laptop has no cd-drive and has a floppy drive. What happens is, the browsers don't connect to anything, I think they need updating.
What browser will fit on a floppy disk? I tried one called "slim browser" that worked fine on my computer but for some reason told me I was missing a DLL file when I tried to install it on the old laptop....
its is for an elderly lady (90!) who just wants to get on the net, and good on her too, so if anyone has any tips for how to fix the "big grey brick", it would be much appreciated
