Yo, i've recently chucked out a load of shite from my attic, and found my age old rig, Intel Celeron 700mhz if i can remember.

Being the riskee type, im thinking about experimenting with the chip and trying to blow it up. Im sure you've seen the video of the vaporizing Duron. I want to do that, and id clearly have to overclock the Celeron a fair bit. I was just wondering, if blowing up the Celeron is actually possible?

probably not..unless you strap some C4 to it....it will just get really hot and fry on you...

there are plenty of places that take olld cpus for less fortunate people

Maybe you should try doing that before making a boiled egg out of a useful cpu...

some places just need them for word... email etc.. see if you can donate it..

but I doubt it will even fry unless you take off the heatsink..

I still suggest donating it.

I think an egg conducts electricty, so you will waste your time getting egg over a perfectly workable PC.

But if you must, turn off the thermal shutdown in the BIOS and enjoy eating your cooked square of egg.

or just fry the egg...and sell it on e-bay saying "I sacrificed my Celeron CPU to cook this egg"
