not true actually. its a myth that if you build it yourself it costs less. i got the one in my sig for 1450. i made an athlon based one that matches it but had 1 gig of ram instead of 2 like the xps and it was like 120 cheaper. big deal. the only thing about the xps is that it has alot of pre installed software on it, but i deleted that anyway. making a comp yourself isnt as good of a thing as it used to be. and if something goes wrong with a custom made oen, (which it will) good luck fixing it. youll be pretty much on your own.
