Is this PC good?

well I need to get a new pc as I spilt water over my laptop and it looks like it could a motherboard problem as the HD is not being detected.

Is the following a good buy?

It all depends on what you want to do on it.... And How much your willing to spend.

He just ment the specs arent that good. But i think its a pritty **** good deal because you get a monitor etc. and its just so cheap.

If you want to game, then its not a great PC if all you want to do is surf web then yes its a good PC.

But you need to tell us exactly what you want to do on it and exactly how much you have to spend.

thanks well I only need cd/dvd re-writer. I use the internet alot & do simple websites. I don't play games on it.

Is it just the memory & chip type thats bad? I've never heard off AMD 64 Bit Sempron before

Then it should be fine for what you are doing. If your burning DVD's and stuff you might want to put another stick of 512 in that system. 64 bit Semperns have been out for a while.

would it be worth getting my laptop fixed? if so does anyone at all know how much it could cost to replace the motherboard?
