going to upgrade my hdd and cpu soon hopefully but ive said that before. still no changes

It looks like people who overclock the living crap out of their GeForce 6 series cards are getting almost as good of scores as 7 series cards do stock.

i'm gonna put everything to stock and see what I score, post in a few.

Ok, finally ran it and got 3594 marks. Nothing OCed. Going to try some OCing tomorrow though.

Well at least im in your ballpark bleak, I was hoping.

Ok, ran it stock at scored a 3204, followed by 3201. Cpu score was 856. So I see a pretty significant improvement when overclocked.

Now i'm gonna try it at 2.9 ghz.

I scored 4154. Thats half of what i got in 05. Thats with my CPU (3700) @2.95GHz and my 7800gt @ 520/1150. I am gonna try and up my 7800gt to 530/1200 and see what happens.

Ok with the cpu at 2.860 ghz I scored 3523...not bad for a 6-series.
