lol, good catching my typos
I will look into 2 1gig sticks instead of 4 512s. I thought that the larger sized sticks would cause heating problems and reduce the life of the hardware? At least that is what I have always known to be true with regards to RAM. That may not be the case these days with things like "Heat Spreaders" on them.
I'm not hip on the Opterons, it was hard enough to admit Intel wasn't the chip to buy for my new system!
