Budget GeForce 7 GPU's Released!

Nvidia just announced the release of the GeForce 7300 GS.

The 7300 is a new budget part meant to compete with ATI's X1300. The 7300 GS features 4 pixel pipes, 3 vertex pipes and features a 400 MHz DDR2 memory clock. There is no SLI support, and the 7300 GS's MSRP is $99.

it's ironic because it's substantially worse than the 6XXX series cards.

4 pipelines huh...Isnt the 6600GT like $110 now? I would like to see some benchmarks between this 7300 and the 6600GT

WOOHOO!!!

I like these cheap end cards for what they are, and hope it does well in benchtests.

The 6600gt is 130, so hopefully it will be a nice chunk better than a 6600.

Yes, most probably. Like the thing they did where ATI use a GT extension on a card, or nVidia use XL, and people think they are better when they are in fact worse. Regular consumers will happily pay more.
