Computer Visual /probly simple problem

Hey guys i have a question and are in need of some help i simply took out 1 stick of my 512mb ddr ram and popped it back in and now when i turn my computer on my fans all start to run and it does what it normaly does but my monitor is not being detetected by my computer could i have accidently unplugged my video card out of its slot but the video card is getting power i have also had this cpu running for about 8months now i have an amd3200 and a 6600 256mb. PLEASE IF U HAVE ANY IDEAS OF WHAT COULD BE WRONG PLEASE POST UR IDEAS THNX/

why did you take it out? Is it the only stick of memory? If it is, put it in a different memory slot. If not a single, take it out and try to boot from the other remaining memory and tell us what happens.

you might have the DL mixed up

 

[Nitestick]

test all sticks in all combinations to get it to boot. if that fails put this stick back in the first slot and reset the CMOS.

lol wuts cmos and dl and yes i have tried runniing off one stick and swithcing the slots please keep posting if u have more ideas.
