Is MBM 5 reliable for temps because if it is then my AMD is running at 75 steady.

I have a laptop (Pentium M). SppedFan readings will usually have my HD and CPU at about the same temperatures (~36C), but right now I am getting 34 C for my HD and 52 C for my CPU. I am only using ~15% of my CPU and my laptop's bottom doesn't feel hot.
I don't know how to check my temperature any other way. Can somebody explain the process to me? I don't know how to mess with the BIOS.
