Yea, i just got into this whole "build ur own pc" thing and i need someone that knows what they're talking to give me some help. I have all the parts and eveything picked out i just need to know if they will be able to work with each other. Here are the parts:

I don't know much about ATI video cards, but if I were spending about that much, I'd get the 6800GS from nVidia.

If your not overclocking, you can get a cheaper motherboard and put some more money into your graphics. Get this motherboard. You won't be let down.

thanks, this mobo looks much better for price, but what i am really concerned with is if all these parts will work with each other.
(any suggestions on a better video card since im gettin this mobo instead?)

The parts will work fine together. Unless you are going to get two video cards I wouldn't spend my money on a SLi board. However, ASUS makes good, solid, and stable boards.

Please, whatever you do, get yourself a better power supply! Its the backbone of every system. Personally, I wouldn't go any less than 480W and with a brand name like Enermax, Antec, Fortran -- there are others.

Personally, I recommend this hard drive. It's roughly the same, only it supports a 16mb buffer. I have this in my second system. It's a speedy little thing.

heh, your original graphics card was the one i just bought, mostly since my friend got one, and his came with 16 pipes right out of the box, for 12 pipline money
