Opening Host File in Win XP??

Dose anyone know the command line that acsesses the Win XP host file??? I need to edit somthing in it, I tried %SYSTEMDRIVE%\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\ but it didnt worck

If it's XP Pro the file should be here: c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

If it's XP Home the file should be here: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

You will need to have administrator rights.

Are you trying to access it from command prompt?
