Convert LP's to Cd

I have a huge Lp collection and I want to convert may of them to Cd. How do I best go about doing this

LP's are a completely different procedure.You need a converter between your record player and audio in.I give up as it was about $50 CDN.
Try Radio Shack if you want to try.You still need a good sound card and wav record/editor,convert to mp3.
