ahaha lols, nutly is a term that my friend came up with, it means absurd or less accurately a bit crazy.

He means..... take them off, then put them back on.
Sometimes the connectors are not fully seated.

Filo.... Ok mate. That was good advice.
I hope he put in the spacers..... I don't like the thoughts of that MSI going up in smoke.

sorry for double posting but yes you can test if your system will start just on your mobo, as long as you leave the PWR switch and PWR LED's in, PSU connected to ur board then you can test, just disconnect GPU, HDD and any optical drives. It also helps to have an LED fan plugged in.

the spacers raise your motherboard up and keep it from resting on the METAL motherboard tray and shorting out the board

they're either plastic or brass and can screw into the motherboard tray and have threaded holes on the other side to screw the mobo screws into.

Does brass conduct the electricity or are they just made so narrow that they don't interfere with any circuits because I think I have them and i'm a bit curious.

no it doesnt could it be a DOA????? how can i test that???
