1) "pqi POWER Series 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 333 (PC 2700) System Memory - Retail"

2) "Kingston 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 333 (PC 2700) System Memory - Retail"

One is $73.55 and the other is $115.99.
But they're both 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 333 (PC 2700), 2.5V, NO ECC

Is the only difference the brand name? Is one better than the other?

It's the same reason why a Ferrari is more expensive than a Corvette. Different parts are used with different quality. Sometimes (just like cars, and otherwise) RAM will be overpriced for what it is.
