Minor problem I want to address

This is a minor problem that I want to address and can't seem to figure out. When I go to start, run, and the run box opens I can't seem to get the words I have typed in there to stay. When I have typed in for example msconfig whenever I would come back to it, there it would be but now I always have to retype it. No big deal but what can I do to make it the same as I have always had it?

Sometime when you run programs such as Microsoft Antispy, Tracks eraser, etc, it wipes out those entries. Do you run tools like this?

This gets erased when you clean your IE temporary files.

I run counterspy but no others. The other thing is there is no empty temp internet folders on closing in the advanced. Where did it go?

What about why the empty files .... ? Why would that be gone?

go to internet options and see if you can see the temp files in there

Yes, I see it under the general tab, but the one in the advanced tab that says empty temp folders ...... is not in there.
