pc auto shot down

hi there pc fanatic..

got some problem here in my desktop when i use my desktop in 1 hour or less than .. my pc goes shutting down..\

what is the problem .. can any advice me or tell me how to trouble shoot my pc..

any guys...

what happens exactly?
does it just instantly power off, or properly shut down?
if it shuts down properly, does it give you a 60 second countdown? that's what happens with the MSBLASTER worm

that worm usually will hit you when you connect to the net which is almost instantly. does it shutdown while you are using it or idle?

but the mean reason is its automatically shutdown when im using it . when im playing a games online... ....

theres no counting like you said in MSblaster worm...

its not affected with virus...

if it is an instant black screen, it can be:
CPU or video card overheating
bad PSU

i got vga card and have a fan in the heat sink...

if vga what should i do..

if the CPU problem what s the main cause there..

kindly help me..

Maybe while you play for a long time, the fan has stopped working so the CPU was overheated then eventually shutting down.
That might be a problem.
If that, you need to replace a chip fan.
