My PSU has a problem...

Hi Guru,

I plugged cord(came with case) to outlet from wall, and try to plugged 4-pins connector to my 120mm fan for testing.

After open PSU's switch, it has nothing. Both of them doesn't work. Is my PSU failed? Is it neccessary to connect 24-pins to mobo before it works?

for the PSU to work it needs to either be plugged into a motherboard, or........ short the green pin with any black pin on the motherboard connector with a paperclip.

I plugged the 24-pins into motherboard and turn the PSU's switch on, but nothing happend!!!

did you hook up the front panel connections?

you have to turn the PSU on, and also hit the power button on the case.
