I'm getting my new ram today, (check sig) and I was wondering if I could give my old ram to my sister. The problem is, she has 2 sticks of 512, pc3200, and the stick I was gonna give her is pc2700. Is it possible to mix these?

Yeah, it will just underclock the over ram.

You can, but it would do less good than bad by slowing the memory down.

Actually it depends what CPU you have, a AMD 64 it will do nearly nothing bad, but you will not see much good if it isn't a gaming/graphics PC.
