strange thing

I have OCed my PC and it was working great. Today I have decreased FSB, uninstalled my OC software and re-installed it to bring back the old settings. PC froze and could not boot. After fixing the FSB settings etc (the lower settings) PC was working again...
Any ideas why i cant bring back my old settings?

Reset your CMOS/BIOS.

Remove the little watch abttery on your mobo for a few minutes. That'll clear the CMOS and restore the original settings to your BIOS.

there usually is on every board, but the battery is a lot easier to find
