I just received some new ram. ocz value pack 2x512 mb 3200 ddr. The computer seems to recognice the ram just fine, but when i booted up the first time, windows seems to have been corrupted or something. I managed to boot it up, but i loaded at a marginal speed. This is not the real problem though, because i intended to reinstall windows anyways.
But when i try to boot from the windows xp-cd, i always get the message "choose proper boot device or insert proper boot media...". I've chosen the dvd-rom as the primary boot device in the bios, and i've also tried choosing it with the f8-option, but i get that message anyways.
