GPU Specs:
- 48 Shader processors
- 48 Discrete flow control unit
- 166 billion Pixel shader ops/sec
- 553.8GigaFlops/sec

Heres more info:

http://www.ocworkbench.com/ocwbcgi/newspro/viewnews.cgi?newsid1136699391,34777,

I think the nVIDIA 7800GTX 512 MB has finally found a worthy competitor, possibly more powerful than the current 7800 GTX 512MB, hopefully nVIDIA has there own powerhouse being created, Btw if you look at the "more info" this should cost aproximately $850-$900USD

Are you kidding me? If those specs are real, it will KILL the 7800GTX512, it has double the pipelines AND faster clockspeeds. Holy [snipped], that is a [snipped] beast!

I thought this card was pretty amazing. I mean, this could mean big for ATI if nVIDIA doesn't come up with something quick.

ATI might take leadership in the graphics card market once again. They're coming out with this beast, although nVIDIA is coming out with the 7600 Cards in mid-2006, meaning ATI has a chance to make cards more powerful than nVIDIA

It means it's a unified shader architecture, meaning that the vertex pipelines and shader pipelines are the same thing, normally a card has two sets of pipelines, one for vertex processing and one for shader processing. The 7800GTX has 24 shader pipelines and 8 vertex pipelines. This mean that the X1900 has 48 pipelines that can be used for vertex and shader processing. I'm pretty sure this is how it works, but don't quote me on it.
