Watercooling setup

Hello. I don't know much about it, but I would like to set up a watercooling loop for my pc. I'm doing this mainly to keep it as quiet as possible, but I would also like it too keep my cpu under 25c idle if possible, and I will also be cooling my GPU this way. I would REALLY like to keep this around 350, 400 at the most (usd). The only problem I can think of is that I have a very small case (Antec Super Lanboy). Also, for some reason my Mobo lies whenever I use software-based temp monitors. Is it possible to use a hardware based temp monitor? Would it be better for me to use 1/2 tubing, or 3/8? Using all this, can someone please make a list of parts that would be ideal for me? Thank you very much!

DUDE, danger den is the place to go, now seeing that you have a lanboy you will want to go with a external pump and radiator? if you have the room go with 1/2 tubing so you can flow tons of water. 25c should be doable.

that should get you going, then also i would suggest going with a non-conductive fluid like mct-5.

I have researched it for a while now, and I decided I want a DC pump, at least a 2x 120mm fan radiator but I want it to be thin, so I can use less rpm fans.

With $350-400, you could get a very nice setup.

Swiftech Storm CPU block
Danger Den Maze4 Acetl GPU block
HWLabs Black Ice Pro II or III radiator
Iwaki MD20RLZ pump
Clearflex60 tubing
2 or 3 Panaflo medium output fans (depends on radiator)

Then you'll need a resevoir and a few other misc. things like hose clamps and coolant, but that's not as important. All that SHOULD fit in your budget, but I didn't check the prices.

That would run you aruond 250ish last time i checked

Would it be better to get a bigger radiator like the black ice xtreme 3?

well the more fans mean the water will be cooler, but do you really want all that noise?

Don't get the Xtreme, just the normal Black Ice Pro II because the Xtreme is kind of a waste of money unless you are using high powered fans.. ANd Don't get the DD TDX block, there is no reason to buy it. THe best CPU block on the market would have to be the Swiftech Storm.

I would do this same setup. If you want more performance, go for the Storm block instead....other than that this will be a top of the line setup. I've also been reading some watercooling stickys from various forums and they say the Silverprop GPU and chipset blocks are the best, so since its within your budget you could upgrade to storm cpu block and cyclone fusionHL gpu block.
