case airflow

simple airflow question for ya;

i'm a smoker and im trying to keep the smoke out of my case so would this fan setup work? rear + front fan : intake, side fan exhaust. the side case fan will be on my right, im also right handed. would that be effective for keeping the smoke out and still give good airflow?

my brother once told me that you need a 1:1 ratio for intake/exhaust, im sure thats not true since most mid towers have 3 fan openings.

and you can cut a hole in the top for exahust

what you can do is put fan filters over the fan to keep dust and whatnot out of the computer, or you could just put like a paper towel or some other kind of filter lol
