So I recently bought a DVD drive for my computer, worked perfectly fine untill a while ago, and now when it reads the dvd its very lagged and the sound comes in crackly. I'll try to play the DVD with a different player, and instead my computer shuts down and restarts. I tried different video files, and most .avi's started doing this to me. I went into my system settings and told it to not automatically restart and I tried again, getting the following error:

Of course this means nothing to me, but hopefully you can point me in the right direction. Im thinking that im missing some video codec, but which one completely eludes me. Thanks in advance.
