Oh, sorry, you're faster than me. That system looks okay, but I'm afraid that if you're grandfather wants something "big"(which I'm reading a bit as "shiny" right now) It won't intice him. And if he's concerned about "support", he may not want to go with something he hasn't heard of without a really good pitch.

anybody have any details on ABS computer systems?

I bought an ABS system about 4 years ago and it was a pretty good system.
I still say build it yourself or order from monarch.

try going for alienware... of course they're well known.. and my friend loves the service.. he says they're very friendly

all of our computers are dells, except for the one that i just built a few days ago. overall, for my family dells are great comptuers that are good for what your grandpa needs, but for gamers and people who know more about computers, i don't think dell would be the way to go. but for your grandpa, yeah get a dell, their custromer service isn't THAT bad, and hopefully you won't need it.
