i am thinkind downloading AVg antivirus but is it possible to have 2 antivirus programs

i already have norton 2005

4uvak: It is not nessicary to start similar topics, As I already Explained with the firewalls, it slows preformence. So you definitly shouldn't have 2 AV programs.

But AVG is great, so just ditch your norton.

Stop subscription and uninstall it.

AVG is the devil do not trust them use Avast.

Well I guess we all Have opinions.

I have used Avast also, I don't like the user interface and thats the Single reason I don't reccomend it.

You can try both and see which one you like best.:)

Norton does a good enough job of slowing computers all by itself, I agree you should lose it.

You can have as many antivirus' as you want just dont have all of them protecting your computer just use them as scanners and one for protecting.

I think it depends how they work. For example I have two, one AVG which is on-access, the other ClamWin isn't. They work fine together because they aren't both on-access, and because there not competing with each other.

i have had problems with AVG

avast detects viruses if you download any

its opinion-based on anti-viruses basically

but dont use norton, waste of $$$
