anti virus, anti spyware

hey, I'm re-installing Windows, and I want to know which protection programs should I have, which are the best, but also which don't take too much time to load at startup

AVG isn't half bad. Of course its all opinion on how well they work.

Honestly Im really not the advocate for antivirus or spyware removal software. Im really unsure about what AVG does about spyware.

AVG wont find spyware, just viruses.

free programs like spybot s&d and adaware are very good spyware removers, but better used in tandem as each finds different things.

I use AVG, but since coming here I've started using NOD32 and AVG together. And NOD is finding things in zip files that AVG didnt find.

Firefox (Broswer)
SpywareBlaster
Adware SE Personnel
Spybot Search And Destroy (With TeaTimer)
Regseeker (Delete Register entries after Scans)
AVG

I also do frequent scans with HIjackthis and run a Linksys Router.

Im perfectly Clean.

I always thought running 2 AV's would slow down performance, but I notice no difference running AVG and NOD32 together, even on my slower systems.
